WHY PRIMETIME ICE FISHING CHARTERS?
Prime Time Ice Charters was carefully designed to offer you the very best ice fishing
experience for walleyes that Lake Erie can provide.
Walleyes are usually the most active in the couple of daylight hours preceding dusk and
after dawn. This charter service takes advantage of this behavior and is timed to give you
multiple chances at walleye during these "Prime Times".
Another advantage is that traveling in the "wee" hours to make an early plane ride
(along with dozens of other fishermen) is not necessary--a real plus for those driving a long
distance.
Instead, you fly over after lunch, leaving from Port Clinton or from Sandusky, are
picked up at PutinBay Airport, then taken to your lodging where you can check-in and
prepare for the afternoon trip out. I will make the reservations for you, but the plane fare
is not included in the charter rates.
Another option now available to reach Put-in-Bay are air boats which are enclosed and
heated for the short trip across the South Passage.
I'll take you to a warm, fully equipped ice shanty (electronic fish locator, rod lures,
gaff and minnows), give you some instructions on how the fish like the bait worked, then
assist you in your quest for a limit of walleyes--right to sunset.
The electronic fish finder will alert you to when to pay attention--then it's like playing a
video game as you go one-on-one against a walleye!
After sunset, I will get you back to your lodging, take care of cleaning and packaging
your catch and advise you of your options for supper.

In order to give each client proper attention I will not be booking more than 6 shanties per day. Days offered will be each Fri./Sat., Sat./Sun., or Sun./Mon. during the season. Weekdays may be available for larger parties after the weekends sell out.
Shanties seat 2 or 3 fisherman. Individuals signing up without a fishing partner may be
sharing a shanty with another fisherman.

Terms and Conditions of this Charter
Dear Prime Time Ice Charter Client:
Winter on Lake Erie can be downright nasty and danger is inherent to those unaccustomed
to frigid winds or unstable walking conditions. I will attempt to make your trip safe,
enjoyable and productive. However, I can't prevent all accidents from occurring (such as
slips on the ice, fish hooks in the hands, etc.). For this reason, I will not take anyone out
on the ice who has not signed a copy of this form. By signing this form, you absolve
Prime Time Ice Charters and John Hageman, Jr. of any and all liability in the case of any
loss and/or injury to persons and/or property occurring at any time during your chartered
ice fishing trip. Furthermore, by your signature, you also agree to follow my instructions
while on the ice to minimize risks to yourself and others. Intoxication while on the ice will
result in the immediate termination of your charter and forfeiture of your payment.
